Common questions

What is the lead time on MV pad-mounted transformers?
24–36 weeks from PO confirmation. Longer lead times apply to higher voltage classes and custom configurations.
What fluid options are available?
Mineral oil and FR3 (less-flammable fluid) are both available. Specify FR3 if the installation requires reduced fire risk or if local code requires it.
Do you support loop-feed and radial-feed configurations?
Yes. Both loop-feed (two-bushing primary) and radial-feed (one-bushing primary) are available. Specify your utility's required configuration at quote.
Are MV units UL listed?
Yes. All pad-mounted units are UL/cUL listed. IEEE C57.12.26 and C57.12.28 compliant. File number provided on request.
What warranty applies to pad-mounted transformers?
5 years from date of shipment covering windings, core, tank, and terminals. Full terms in our Terms & Conditions of Sale.
